It has been a busy month, hence the lack of posts! The big news is that Adeline said what I think should be considered her first word. Last weekend, Lawton and I were at my grandmother's house in St. Simons. As I was leaving the room with Adeline, to nurse her and put her to bed, I did my usual routine of asking her to tell everyone "night night." Well, this time she said it, and my grandmother, mom, and Lawton were all witnesses. She has continued to say it ever since, but we have figured out that she has the meaning a bit wrong. It is very clear, for reasons I won't elaborate on, that Adeline thinks "night night" means to nurse. So, her first words might as well have been "let's eat." I guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree! Anyway, here are a few other firsts from the past few weeks...
