Happy Easter

We hope all of you had a terrific Easter. Adeline enjoyed a relaxing time down in Thomasville...

She even found a couple of eggs in the annual Defnall egg hunt.

"So Big"

As her cousin Jimbo would say, Adeline is getting "so big." She is seven months old today and I cannot believe how fast she is growing! We have started feeding her baby food, which she is thoroughly enjoying...

We have also recently lowered her crib, as she is now pulling herself up!

She has also started to scoot, which means we are both about to get a lot more exercise! Maybe we'll both be looking buff come bikini season-or I should say bathingsuit season-as Lawton has already decided that Adeline will not be wearing a bikini (or dating, driving etc) until she's 25.

Bunny

On a recent trip to Thomasville, I introduced Adeline to one of my most cherished possessions...Bunny. As you can see from the pictures, Bunny has definitely seen his better days. I got Bunny for Easter when I was only 1 year old. For 25 years we rarely left each other's side. He graduated from Wake Forest, studied abroad in France, and has lived all over the state of Georgia! I decided when I got married to leave him in Thomasville- more for Lawton's sake than mine. It was so fun to see Adeline playing with Bunny...maybe I can get him to 201 Malatchie after all!
